Dear Students and Parents,
We hope you and your family are enjoying the summer break and finding time to rest and relax before the start of another incredible school year.
The purpose of this letter is to inform you that it is time for school registration. You will find our registration ONLINE at: Back to School | Washburn Public School (k12.nd.us). You can do all of registration online if you choose--please have it completed by August 5, 2025. Registration for K-12 students can also be in person on Tuesday, July 29th…location will be in the commons, use Door One. You do not have to attend in person if you do all required forms found at the above link. In person registration will be from 9:00 AM-12:30 PM & 1:00 PM-7:00 PM.
Preschool registration will be on July 29th and will be from 4:00-7:00 PM in the commons (Use Door 1). This DOES happen in person. This is for children at least age 4 by July 31. Please bring a copy of your child's official birth certificate. If you have any questions, please contact Jill Grumbo at jill.grumbo@k12.nd.us.
Students in grades 7-12 can see their class schedule by logging into their PowerSchool account. Parents can pay all fees by logging into eFunds. You will need your student’s ID number to do so, please contact chandra.hans@k12.nd.us or penny.hetletved@k12.nd.us if you need assistance with that student ID number. (You can also find the student ID by logging into PowerSchool and going to the demographics page.) Note, all class changes for grades 7-12 can be made with Mr. Eriksson in the afternoon at registration day 12:30 PM-7:00 PM or and again on Monday, August 4th from 9 :00 AM to 3:00 PM. All class changes must be done prior to paying class fees. You can email Mr. Eriksson if you have any questions at beau.eriksson@k12.nd.us.
There have been updates to the high school and elementary student handbooks. This can be viewed on the school’s website as well as the Back to School Link provided above.
AP US History has summer assignments and textbooks have arrived. Students can stop in on registration day to receive the textbook, get their assignment, and get access to the Google Classroom. Mrs. Leingang will be available to answer questions about the class. If you have questions, you can email Mrs. Leingang at megan.leingang@k12.nd.us.
Note, hot lunch fees will be set very soon. USDA hasn't set there rates yet which are very late this year, so as a board, we have to wait. We will do them immediately after we get that rate.
