Out of the over 600 class A and class B musicians in this weekends auditioned Northwest Music Festival only 4 received the prestigious 5 year award. Two of those four awards went to Washburns own Alex Seidler and Emma Vander Wal!



Washburn students ready to go for today's Northwest Festival performances!


Parent Teacher Conferences will be held next week Wednesday, November 6 (3:30- 6:00) and Thursday, November 7 (3:30-7:00). Elementary teachers are available by scheduling a time slot. Conferences for grades 7-12 are open house format. We look forward to seeing everyone there and discussing your child’s progress.

Elementary lunch is now open for the public to join students. With increases in enrollment, seating is limited. We prefer parents call the elementary office to ensure seating space. More space may open up when construction is complete. Thank you!

The Northwest Festival of Music is underway! Washburn students were fortunate enough to be selected for all 5 performing ensembles! Watch them perform tomorrow, November 2nd, in Ann Nicole Nelson Hall on the campus of MSU

Washburn music students enjoy a hard earned meal after a long afternoon of University of North Dakota honor band and choir auditions. Results in a couple weeks!


Flashbang, the 188th Army Band of the North Dakota Army National Guard, took pictures with the kids after their concert!

Students in Grades 7-12 spent their Cardinal Time decorating pumpkins as part of a contest! It was really great to see students giving their best effort to show their creativity. Thank you to the Olafsons for donating the pumpkins for this activity!

Beginning Immediately, all visitors will begin to use Door 1 (main door). All Middle and High School students will use Door 1. Upper Elementary Recess will Use Door 1. Concrete work has begun, and Door 17 (by gym) will not be accessible UFN.
