Today's Jh volleyball game will be in Turtle Lake at 4:30.
Students in Grades 7-12 spent their time during Cardinal Time yesterday competing against different groups. Each group was asked to find their matching assigned cartoon to gather the group and complete tasks, such as putting a puzzle together, assembling a Lego set, organizing a deck of cards in a particular order, and answering questions about the individuals within their group. They did this all without talking to each other!!! It was awesome to see our students work together with other students in various grade levels while having some fun!

Elementary runners in grades 3-6 from Washburn, Wilton, and Wing were able to participate in Southern McLean's home meet at Painted Woods Golf Course. The parent volunteers, Washburn Running Club and Gavin Hetletved helped make it a great experience for the young runners. Great work everyone!!
Roughrider Cross Country hosted their annual home meet today at Painted Woods golf course outside Washburn. The varsity boys took 2nd while the varsity girls captured the team title! Congratulations Roughriders and especially those who earned Top Finisher t-shirts! Special recognition to our seniors, Kari, Quinton, and Cody!

Southern McLean Football took time to help a couple gentlemen tear down and haul away shelves out of the dollar store. Rather than practicing, they took the time to practice servant leadership. Very proud moment and what a great start to homecoming week!
