It was a busy night at the last home football game! The first and second graders played flag football during half time. It was also Senior and Parent night. Third and fourth youth football, fifth and sixth grade football, and junior high were also recognized.

It’s a GREAT day to be a Cardinal. Sonja Moe, Communications Manager of McLean Electric Cooperative (MEC), notified us that they have assisted in raising $15,000 to be used for our Science Classrooms within our building project. The $15,000 donation comes from multiple contributors to include MEC for $3,000, the Rural Development Finance Corporation for $3,000; Basin Electric Power Cooperative for $3,000; and CoBank for $6,000.
On behalf of Washburn Public School, we sure send our gratitude for the generous sponsorship toward our science classroom renovations.
