JH STEM tested their Football Helmets on one of the last warm day. We dropped them 5 times and then checked the egg to see if it cracked. 5 out of 10 eggs survived!
Basketball Fan Attire! Order forms were sent home today with elementary students. Forms are available in the high school office or in the main gym hallway for high school students and guests. Orders due to the school no later than December 11th. Contact Suzy Jacobson with any questions.
Snowball, sponsored by Student Council, will be held on Friday, December 12th.

Junior High Girls Basketball Tournament

Semester 1 Tests for Grades 7-12 will take place Thursday December 18 through Monday December 22. Please see the image for dates and times scheduled to tests of classes.
Grades 10-12 can be exempt from semester tests (must take one test) . Please see the image for test exemptions.
Students are able to receive additional help each day once their tests ends at 2:20. If no additional help is needed, students are dismissed for the remainder of the day. Buses will dismiss at normal times though.
School will dismiss for all grades PreK-12 for the holiday break at 2:20 on Monday December 22. Buses will dismiss at 2:30.

Results from the 2025 McLean County Math Meet that was held on November 19.
For the 9-10 division: Daniel Neumiller - 7th place individual and Noah Holznagel - 8th place individual (0.02 points separated Dan and Noah!), other Washburn participants not mentioned previously are Kesia Boeshans, Bre Laning, Wyatt Koble, and Rebecca Scheresky.
For the 11-12 division: Ethan Retterath - 2nd place individual (0.02 points away from first place!), Joshua Laning - 3rd place individual, and Elizabeth Neumiller - 4th place individual (0.04 points separated Elizabeth and Joshua!). Also, the 11-12 team took home 1st place honors. The team members are Ethan Retterath, Joshua Laning, Elizabeth Neumiller, Amelia Swanson, Beckett Kadrmas, and Tanner Fiedler.
Washburn is coached by Wendy Miller and Melissa Rothe.
