Congratulations to the Washburn-Wilton Speech Team for an outstanding day at the State B Speech Tournament in Mandan today! Hannah Klabunde - tied for 6th place in Serious Interpretation, Sidney Montgomery - Superior Medal (non-finalist who got 1st place in a prelim round) in Serious Interpretation, Christine Yunker - 7th in Dramatic Interpretation, Joanie McCormack & Ethan Swanson - 6th in Humorous Duo, and Natalie Ronderos - 8th in Impromptu Speaking. A terrific end to a FABULOUS speech season!! Congratulations to the entire team for their tremendous efforts all season. It was a great day to be a Cardinal!!!!

Today our students in grades 7-12 got the opportunity to visit with a few local organizations. Students were able to learn more about the organization and how they're involved within the community. Thank you Tru Community Bank, American Legion, McLean County Sheriff Department, Fire Department, Emergency Medical Responders, Parks & Rec and Lions Club for taking the time to visit with our students and the positive impact you have in the Washburn community!
