The Washburn FFA Chapter attended the state FFA CDEs on Minot on Monday, March 24th. Here are the following results: The Ag. Sales team received a bronze award. Great opening meet, Roughriders!
Congratulations to the Washburn-Wilton speech team for another terrific showing at the South Heart Last Chance Meet. A "Last Chance" meet is typically where students who have not qualified for state in more than one event can compete to have a chance to go to state. About half of our team competed at this meet. Hannah Klabunde - 4th in Serious Interp, Lily Gardner - 2nd in Humorous Interp, Ethan Swanson - 4th in Dramatic Interp, Willow Holter - Top Novice in Dramatic Interp, Vivian Weber - 6th in Impromptu Speaking, and Berandt Olafson - 5th in Speech to Persuade. It was a great day to be a Cardinal!
