Washburn hosted an artist in residency, Myra Klein, who taught art to students in K-4th grade. Student's artwork was showcased before the spring concert last week. This was a great experience for our students!

It was a great day to be a Roughrider in Underwood today! Congratulations to the boys 4x200 relay team of Brady, Beckett, Keaton, and Quinton and the boys 4x400 team of Keaton, Quinton, Cody, and Beckett for qualifying for State! The girls 4x100 relay team of Sadie, Sydney, Mae, and Alex also (re)qualified!

What's today? A day to send some gratitude to some fabulous leaders in Cardinal Country. I want to take a moment to honor their dedication and leadership and express a little heartfelt gratitude today, May 1, for Principal Appreciation Day to Mrs. Reynolds and Mr. Eriksson. I'm thankful for my teammates in administration.

WASHBURN STRENGTH SIGNUP LINK: OPEN TO WASHBURN ATHLETES THAT WILL BE IN GRADES 7-12 NEXT YEAR!
WASHBURN PUBLIC SCHOOL has now partnered with Sanford Sports Performance to provide the finest, professionally implemented training program to optimize athletic performance, reduce risk of injury and increase team success.
The 2024 summer Washburn Strength program is now available for registrations. To get the most out of the training we expect our Washburn athletes to make every effort to be at a vast majority of training session and committed to improve. It takes work and dedication to improve.
Washburn will have a trainer that will be using the Sanford online application to direct the athletes on Monday -Thursday each week.
There will be 3 sessions each day.
7:00-8:00 High School Boys & Girls
8:00-9:00 Junior High Boys & Girls
Sanford Power will be $100 for each participant. Checks should be written to Washburn Public School and turned into Coach Lexi Solomonson. The Washburn American Legion donation will offset the rest of the cost for each participant and the individual app.
