Congratulations to the following Grade 7-12 students who made the honor roll for the 2nd semester! To qualify for the A Honor Roll, a student earned a GPA higher than a 93.5%. Students who made the B Honor Roll earned a GPA higher than an 86.5% . All students on both honor rolls received a letter grade of a C or higher in each class as well. We’re proud of our students for their hard work and dedication to excellence!

WASHBURN PUBLIC SCHOOL has now partnered with Sanford Sports Performance to provide the finest, professionally implemented training program to optimize athletic performance, reduce risk of injury and increase team success.
The 2025 summer Washburn Strength program is now available for registrations. To get the most out of the training we expect our Washburn athletes to make every effort to be at a vast majority of training session and committed to improve. It takes work and dedication to improve.
Washburn will have a trainer that will be using the Sanford online application to direct the athletes on Monday -Thursday each week.
There will be 3 sessions each day.
7:00-8:00 High School Boys & Girls
8:00-9:00 Junior High Boys & Girls
Sanford Power will be $100 for each participant. Checks should be written to Washburn Public School and turned into Coach Lexi Solomonson. The Washburn American Legion donation will offset the rest of the cost for each participant and the individual app.

Day 2 of the State Track and Field Meet is in the books! We had a lot more PRs today and a few performances that, although good, came up just short of finals or the podium. Congratulations to Maggie for taking 4th in the high jump!

Congratulations Caiden Cleveland 4th place at the South Heart qualifier.

The graduation ceremony for the Class of 2025 will be held this Sunday, May 25 at Noon in the New Gym. Come join us in honoring our seniors and their accomplishments!
Field Day 2025 - Due to the rainy, cold weather this week, we had to be indoors for field day. This year, Mr. Harvey had the fifth and sixth graders create minute-it-to-win-it games for the rest of the elementary.

The elementary awards concluded with the sixth grade academic recognition award and sixth grade academic excellence award.
At the end of the elementary awards, Mrs. Mihn, Mr. Lauer, and Mr. Moe invited kids to a sing along which included a song from the elementary spring concert.
