Due to the Girls State Basketball Tournament, the BSC Dual Credit meeting that was scheduled for March 5th has been postponed! We are working on re-scheduling and details about the new date will be sent out as soon as they are arranged!

Weekly Activity Schedule

Here is the link to the Washburn Girls’ State Basketball reserved seating section. Any seats not purchased by 9:00 AM on Wednesday will be released to the public.

Students will also have the option to purchase single session tickets for $6.00 by searching “NDHSAA” beginning on Monday, March 2 at 9:00 am.

With the Girls Basketball Team qualifying for the State Tournament this week in Minot, school will dismiss at 1:15 PM on Thursday, March 5, with buses departing at 1:20 PM. Also there will be no school on Friday, March 6, (a make-up date will be announced at a later time). Thank you for your support & go Cardinals!

Congratulations to Ethan for reaching his 1000th point tonight against Flasher in the first round of District play!

Region 4 Girls Basketball Awards! Congratulations to Kesia and Chev for making the Region 4 All Region Team! And congratulations to the Lady Cardinals for being the Region 4 Runner Up! Good luck at the state qualifying game on Saturday!

We would like to send a special thank you to Aaron & Lexi Solomonson for donating a used ultrasound machine to the Washburn Athletic Training Room. Your donation has enabled our Sports Medicine Staff to have another tool to treat tendonitis, inflammation, sprains, strains, bursitis, etc. in our athletes. We are truly grateful for your willingness to ensure student- athlete success! Thank you to the Solomonson Family.

There will be an escort for our girls basketball team on their way to the region championship game tonight. Around 4:00, the team will depart the Memorial Hall, head on Main Street, and then travel 1804 on their way. Please line the streets and cheer them on!

Cardinal Families,
Our Lady Cardinals have punched their ticket to the Regional Championship Game — congratulations, Cardinals!

In order to allow our students, families, and staff the opportunity to cheer on our team, Parent-Teacher Conferences this Thursday will conclude at 5:00 PM.
We will reschedule the two hours that were shortened and will announce the new date and time as soon as administration and faculty have had the opportunity to coordinate schedules.

Thank you for your flexibility and continued support of our students — both in the classroom and in competition. Thank you to all of our parents for understanding...we hope it will not be an inconvenience to reschedule for some of you but we wanted to allow others an opportunity to pack the stands and show our Cardinal pride if they so choose!
