Reinforcements from the McLean County Sheriffs Office arrived on the Friday before Christmas break to help apprehend the Grinch! Deputies taught the Grinch the real meaning of Christmas! Our Elf on the Roof arrived to share treats with the students as well.

Washburn Boys and Girls Basketball
The new gym at Washburn school will be closed from Saturday, December 21-Wednesday, December 25 to have the gym floor refinished. The new gym will be available on Thursday, December 26.
A packet was sent home with all Junior High boys who plan to play basketball this year. This includes the 6th graders. It has information on how to join the Remind group, practice days and times.
Frist Practice is December 30th at 6pm in the New Gym
