All class changes will be conducted virtually for Grades 7-12. Mr. Eriksson will be available for schedule changes on Monday, August 5th and Tuesday, 6th from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The link to join the virtual meeting can be found below. Please make sure to review your schedules ahead of time and join the meeting if any changes are needed. McLean County Band Camp this Monday, August 5th, for all 5th grade band students! Please enter/exit through door #4 only (elementary entrance) Monday - 8:30am-12 Tuesday - 9:00am - 12 Wednesday - 9:00am - 11:45 Short performance 11:45 Wed. @ playground (weather permitting)

Just a reminder physical forms, code of conduct, Sanford Release Form and parent meeting are all online and need to be completed. Thank you to all players that attended the Southern McLean football camp! This two-day camp emphasized fundamentals for offensive and defensive positions while having the opportunity to compete through drills. It was great to see the entire football program coming together to have some fun for a couple of evenings. We are looking forward to the beginning of the football season next week!

Dear Students and Parents, We hope you and your family are enjoying the summer break and finding time to rest and relax before the start of another incredible school year. The purpose of this letter is to inform you that it is time for school registration. You will find our registration ONLINE at: Back to School | Washburn Public School (k12.nd.us). You can do all of registration online if you choose--please have it completed by August 7, 2024. Registration for K-12 students can also be in person on Wednesday, August 7th…location will be announced closer to time due to construction. You do not have to attend in person if you do all required forms found at the above link. In person registration will be from 9:00 AM-12:30 PM & 1:00 PM-7:00 PM. Preschool registration will be on August 7th and will be from 5:00-7:00 PM in the preschool classroom (Use Door 4). Students in grades 7-12 can see their class schedule by logging into their PowerSchool account. Parents can pay all fees by logging into eFunds. You will need your student’s ID number to do so, please contact sherry.kinnischtzke@k12.nd.us or penny.hetletved@k12.nd.us if you need assistance with that student ID number. (You can also find the student ID by logging into PowerSchool and going to the demographics page.) There have been updates to the high school and elementary student handbooks. This can be viewed on the school’s website as well as the Back to School Link provided above.. If you have any questions, feel free to contact either Sherry or myself via email. On July 19, 2024, Berandt Olafson participated in the state FFA tractor driving competition at the ND State Fair Grounds. Berandt received a silver award and represented Washburn FFA well with his performance. Congratulations young man!

Thanks to the awesome support from the Washburn American Legion and Music Boosters Lily Gardner takes her turn representing our school at the International Music Camp this week!
