Congratulations to our December students of the month! Breanna B (8th), Jada V (10th), Parker J (11th) and Oscar W (11th) are superb examples of what a Cardinal is! Kudos to the awesome work they do at WHS!

We are pleased to announce that we will be beginning a new program to help serve students at WPS! Beginning Friday, January 17th, students in need will be sent home with a grocery bag of non-perishable food items once a week to help supplement meals over the weekend when they are not at school. We will provide grocery bags through a "locker drop" on Friday afternoons so students can bring the items home for the weekend. If that is a need in your household, please fill out this form for each of your students! Also, please let them know that there will be a grocery bag appearing in their locker that they will add to their backpack so that it isn't confusing for them. We will assist in letting them know on the school end as well, but we always like to maintain confidentiality at school and do things quietly here! We are very excited for this opportunity. Update from The Nest New Specialty Latte Flavors - Raspberry and Hazelnut New Menu Items - Muffins (while supplies last) We are restocked with Grenadine so Shirley's are back Open - before school, 1,2,4 and cardinal time everyday. We will be open during the JV games Tuesday. We will also be selling the older cardinal gear this Tuesday. This will be the last day. Pay for your items in the nest. 5 dollars an item.

Thanks to all involved in finding and applying for this grant for our kids and to NDDPI for providing the grant opportunity! Our K-8th graders are enjoying all the delicious fresh fruits and veggies (mostly...the squash wasn't a big hit) Ha!

Reinforcements from the McLean County Sheriffs Office arrived on the Friday before Christmas break to help apprehend the Grinch! Deputies taught the Grinch the real meaning of Christmas! Our Elf on the Roof arrived to share treats with the students as well.
