Congratulations to the 2023 Homecoming Court!

Eckroth Music visited this morning to present our school band with their Governor's Band for 2023-2024 banner! Congratulations to the instructors, current band members, & previous students that were awarded this distinction during the spring. What a prestigious honor!

Today we started elementary cross country! Kids from Washburn, Wilton, and Wing are practicing to run a mile the day of the home cross country meet. The meet is at Painted Woods Golf Course on Sept. 25.
Thanks to Gavin Hetletved for helping lead our young runners! So proud of all the kids that came out to try something new! That takes courage, be proud of yourself!

Let's represent Washburn/Southern McLean in a positive manner.

Always Give Something Back isn't just a sign in the entrance way to Kesia Boeshans. Kesia donated the money she earned this summer selling corn to the Washburn Athletic Department to help buy a new shooting machine. That's a lot of corn! Thank You, Kesia!!

The memorial building is looking better every day thanks to the Washburn American Legion. New scoreboard, new sign and next week the prepping begins for a new floor. Thank you to Luke Retterath for helping install the new sign.

Washburn American Legion is in need of volunteers to help remove the Memorial Hall gym floor on September 19 and 20. Removal will begin at 9:00 am both days. If you are willing to help for a period of time contact Keith Jacobson at 701-462-3605.
