It's a GREAT day to be a Cardinal! Here is the FINAL Gratitude Observance of the Holiday Season. Because Gratitude can "fill our cups"--these winners chose a cup of their choice! The submissions were as follows: Student: Delyla Holznagel submitted by a staff member: “Delyla wrote several gratitude slips to others. In addition, she had asked to start breakfast time story hour for littles when our lunchroom was incomplete to help with the chaos. I appreciate her natural leadership and empathy for others!” Student Jada Vetter submitted by a staff member: “I appreciate Jada’s work ethic and strong character. She is a role model and a “care bear” wrapped up in one package. Thanks for being a great Cardinal!” Teacher Tracy Jaeger submitted by a staff member: “Mrs. Jaeger always makes sure her students have everything they need for supplies. In a gratitude project like this one, she writes out the most slips…it’s like words are her “love language.” Tracy wants kids to feel included in all aspects of education and puts in many hours behind the scenes to make it happen!” Teacher Tracy Minh submitted by a staff member: “Mrs. Minh is very creative and puts in a lot of time to enhance our environment and make it better! From fun theme days for dress up and games to exceptional elementary music concerts to anything in between…it is so very much appreciated.” I want to thank all who participated in the gratitude challenge! There were over 500 gratitude sentiments written online and in person...what a great way to lead up to the holidays. My sincerest appreciation for those who chose to participate in this project.
