Washburn Boys Basketball Awards Night will take place on Sunday, May 3, at 5:00 in the Washburn School Commons.

Reminder to students who signed up for dual credit classes next year! You need to apply for admission to BSC and claim you account before we can register you for these classes. To help with this process we will have an application event on Wednesday, May 6th at 12:30 PM in the counseling office. Students need to have their Social Security Number as well as an online form of payment for the $35 application fee!

State Music this Saturday at BSC! Things to know: 1. Dress clothes 2. Be early 3. Mr Moe / Mrs Minh have your originals 4. After your last event you are free to leave. Results handed out Monday. Jamboree (solo & ensemble) Concert Monday, May 4th 7pm Old Gym Good luck!

What an awesome day at the Class B State Speech Tournament held in Mandan. The Washburn-Wilton speech team took home 3rd place, only trailing Dickinson Trinity-New England (by 2.5 points) and class B champions Valley City! Also, we now have two state individual event champions!

Natalie Ronderos - 2nd in Extemp Speaking and 1st and STATE CHAMPION in Impromptu Speaking.

Sidney Montgomery - 7th in Serious Prose and 1st and STATE CHAMPION in Dramatic Interpretation.

Amelia Swanson & Ethan Swanson - 6th in Serious Duo

Ethan Swanson - 6th in Speech to Inform

Christine Yunker - tie for 3rd in Speech to Entertain

Hannah Klabunde - 6th in Serious Prose

Willow Holter - Superior Medalist (received a 1st place rank in a prelim round) in Dramatic Interpretation.

With all the excitement, we failed to take a team picture, so enjoy the picture of the 3rd place state trophy and the team eating afterwards with a few supportive fans! Thank you to everyone that has made this year such a success!!
