What do the 5th and 6th grade girls do when they can't have practice due to the concert? They pay it forward, of course, just like GREAT Cardinals do! Coach Hans arranged to have Kelli Sheldon with Raising Hope Ministry come share her story and make bracelets with our young athletes. These bracelets will be donated to local hospitals & moms who have experienced the loss of a child, baby, or miscarriage. The girls really enjoyed the experience and almost ran Kelli out of beads!
We were fortunate today as a few local organizations stopped by to visit with our students. Students in Grades 7-12 got to hear more about how each one is active within the community and how our students can be involved. A BIG thank you to TruCommunity Bank, American Legion, Parks & Rec, the Lions Club, Emergency Medical Services, Fire Department, and McLean County Sheriff Department for building positive relationships with our students and all of your services!

Congratulations to senior Morgan Olson for making the academic honorable mention all-state team! She was nominated and awarded based on a point system that reviewed ACT scores and GPA. Great job!

Starting on May 1st, elementary students may wear shorts to school. Please bring pants to wear over shorts at recess when the temperature is 39 degrees or below.
