It's a great day to be a Cardinal! Congratulations to the Washburn Speech Team for an outstanding day at the St. Mary's Academy Invitational Meet today (Feb. 10). Matthew Olsen - 2nd in Serious Prose and STATE QUALIFYING and 2nd in EPR and STATE QUALIFYING, Sidney Montgomery - 6th in Serious Prose, Isabel Samuelson - Top Novice in Serious Prose, Haley Matties - 4th in Humorous Interp, Ethan Swanson - 5th in Humorous, Christine Yunker - 7th in Poetry and 4th in Speech to Entertain, Vivian Weber - Top Novice in EPR, Gabe Rohrich - Top Novice in Storytelling, D.J. Winter - 8th in Radio Broadcasting, Natalie Ronderos - 4th in Impromptu and 5th in Speech to Persuade, and Liza Telkamper - 4th in Speech to Persuade.
Thursday was the last home basketball game. A big thank you to everyone who makes our home games possible! Thanks to the students, parents, and fans who support our teams. Thursday was Neon Night.
