Thank you both for providing the valuable experience and life lesson!

Some 8th graders show off their results today after a very successful Saturday for Washburn musicians!
Washburn had 103 solos and ensembles from 5th-8th grades at the McLean County Music Festival!
Final results: 97 events received a rating of I (superior), 3 events received a II (excellent), and 3 events canceled due to illness.
Simplified explanation of ratings:
I - (superior) performing at or above grade level
II - (excellent) performing at grade level
III - (good) performing below grade level
A special kudos to the 8th grade basketball girls who went above and beyond to both perform Saturday then run to Minot to cheer on the Cardinal girls at the state tournament. That's excellent leadership!

Thank You for supporting our basketball student athletes!

We still need individuals to take over Sports Boosters! Reach out to either Rachel Retterath or Suzy Jacobson if you are ready!
This is just one example in the way Sports Boosters helps our student athletes. A vinyl poster ($160) was purchased so the girls could proudly display it at the state tournament this past weekend. Without boosters, items like this would have to be purchased by the parents.
