It has been a busy few weeks for junior high career exploration! On February 25th, the 8th graders went to the T4 event at BSC to learn about many high demand careers. They got to experience 4 hands- on activities to try out a variety of career options. Students really enjoyed programing and flying drones!
This last week, both 7th and 8th grade classes went on a tour of Falkirk Mine and Coal Creek Power Plant. The students learned about many opportunities close to home as well as how these careers use the problem solving skills they have been learning all year long in STEM class. Fun days of learning and imagining future career possibilities!!
