Washburn has wrapped up its first trapshooting season with a great showing at the State Tournament in Horace this weekend. Despite battling rain and wind, our athletes posted some of their personal best scores and represented Washburn with pride. Thank you to our community for your support throughout the season. We are incredibly proud of these young athletes and excited for what lies ahead!

Makenna Nasset took 2nd place at the North Dakota High School State Trap shoot in Horace, ND today. She was not only the 2nd place female out of 40 shooters, but also tied for 2nd overall (m/f) in Novice out of 101 shooters. Congratulations Makenna, we are all very proud of you!

We know many of you may not be thinking about next school year yet, but we need transportation registrations to help us plan proactively for our bus routes. Many routes are already near capacity, and we may need to make adjustments for next year. ALL rural students must be on a route.
Please register for transportation by June 22, 2026.
Thank you in advance.
