Washburn Public School hosted the McLean County Spelling Bee today. Congratulations to Sophie Paulsen of Garrison as she was crowned the McLean County Spelling Bee Champion! Ryan Bingham of Max was named runner up. Both will represent their schools and McLean County at the state spelling bee in March. Also congratulations to Danica (8th), Maddy (8th), and Emerie (7th) for representing our school. All participants did an excellent job!

🏀 Basketball games are a rite of passage for our young people — a time to build school pride, community, and lifelong memories. Our students are our future, and we love seeing them cheering on the Cardinals!
To help keep everyone safe and enjoying the game, we ask that:
Students remain seated in the gym and watching the game
Trips to concessions and restrooms happen at the end of quarters when possible
Running or roaming in hallways, the old gym, or other areas of the school does not occur
We appreciate our parents partnering with us to ensure students enjoy the games in the gym with you.
