“Today the girls played in Flasher again for JV/JH and played out of their shoes!! We had two 1sts and a 3rd! I followed their groups and saw some absolute amazing shots and a very close eagle chance! I am so proud of how far these ladies have come. Congratulations to our placers: Ava Schmidt 1st in JV, Alexandria Arnold T3rd in JV and Olivia Schmidt T1st in JH! Keep getting those Personal Bests girls!!!
After the round, of course, we had to stop at Starbucks for a treat since they had to get up at 4:30 AM today!🥰⛳️

We are pleased to announce that we will be beginning a new program to help serve students at WPS! Beginning Friday, September 12th, students in need will be sent home with a grocery bag of non-perishable food items once a week to help supplement meals over the weekend when they are not at school. We will provide grocery bags through a "locker drop" on Friday afternoons so students can bring the items home for the weekend.
If that is a need in your household, please fill out this form for each of your students! Also, please let them know that there will be a grocery bag appearing in their locker that they will add to their backpack so that it isn't confusing for them. We will assist in letting them know on the school end as well, but we always like to maintain confidentiality at school and do things quietly here! We are very excited for this opportunity.
If your family would benefit from this program, please fill out the student information to get signed up for this service.

Superintendent’s Message of Thanks
On behalf of our school district, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to our Sports Boosters and the many volunteers over the years who have given of their time, energy, and talents to support our student–athletes. Your efforts—whether working concessions, organizing events, raising funds, or cheering from the sidelines—make a lasting difference in the experiences of our students. The opportunities our athletes enjoy are possible because of your commitment, and we are truly grateful for the spirit of community you bring to our schools. Thank you for believing in our students and helping them succeed both on and off the field.
I want to thank in particular, the leadership of Mrs. Jacobson and Rachel Retterath, who are ready to pass the baton of the boosters to volunteers who may be ready to carry on the traditions and the importance of the booster club as their student athletes reach the end of their high school careers. Thank you, ladies, for your leadership and contributions. Please reach out to them for more information and to keep the spirit alive.
